A post from Feb....
It seems like our new home is taking forever. We signed papers on the house nearly ten months ago. So ready to get in there! Lucky us, we'll get the keys at the end of the month. While we are super excited, we are so sad to be leaving this amazing ward. I've made some wonderful, life long friends here. Okay, okay, we are only moving a mile away. It's not that dramatic!
In other news, it's been a great month. Welles continues to show on track development. No signs of delays. He's the easiest and happiest baby there ever was. He melts us all on a daily basis. As well as strangers everywhere. He just keeps getting chunkier and chunkier. This makes for great snuggles! We adore him.
Scarlett also continues to learn and grow. She is an absolute sponge. Repeating all that her little ears hear. She loves dressing up and playing with make up.. So I got her some of her very own (fake) make up. She loves it. She's a social little thing. She loves her friends, and most of all her cousins. She smothers Welles constantly. He is the first person she asks for when she wakes up. She continues to be extremely protective and questions anyone who gets close to him. She is the best big sister.
Scott still loves his job and continues to find new opportunities. He comes home, heads straight for the kids and then to piano to serenade us all! He loves making up new songs and we love listening.
I am keeping busy with packing up this house and looking for renters! Also, I keep pretty busy being a mommy of two;). Life is good!
