As of lately..

Let's play catch up!

Some new milestones;
-Grabs everything! (about 4 months?)
-Sits up and stays all by herself. (about 5 months)
-Sits in a high chair (5months)
-Throws little tantrums... Maybe we shouldn't have that under milestones? (5 months)

-Sleeps in HER OWN BED! Yes, we did co-sleeping for a LONG time. Which to be honest, I miss. I love snuggling that little bug. But I am glad that she is able to sleep on her own. (6 months. June 12th to be exact! This was obviously a big deal.)

-Signed "all done"!!! Can you believe that?! At first we thought she was just waving, but then we noticed she does it when we say "all done". She is so young to be signing. Although, I'm not sure she has any clue what it means ;) (6 months)
-Rolling over. She started rolling to one side a few weeks ago. Okay, so I am with this baby like 24/7. Somehow I kept missing her roll over! Scott saw it, even one of my friends saw it before I did. What the heck? I think she was messing with me. Anyways, She now rolls both ways. No more setting her on the bed without standing right there! Scary.
-Her hair is starting to grow a little!

First Mother's Day

 There is no way for me to even describe the happiness being a mom has brought me. It is by far the most wonderful thing I have ever done. Scarlett makes me happy every single day and gives me such purpose and fulfillment. Thanks to my darling hubby Scott, I had a great first Mother's Day.

Madeleine is staying with us until she gets married in July. She beat Scott to the punch and made a delicious breakfast ;).

Baby slept in nice and late. She is an amazing snuggler.

Me and my mama! Thanks to this amazing and crazy lady for being such an wonderful mom and best friend. She is the best. I have always had a great relationship with my mom, but I feel like we get closer and closer every year. I can't hardly go a day without talking to her! LOVE YOU MOMMY!

And thank you to my wonderful Mother in law for #1. Raising the most amazing son ever. She is truly an amazing woman who did a great job with all of her kids. I am so thankful for the example she set and the things she taught my husband. and #2. Becoming my other mother. I absolutely love her. P.S. No idea how Scott got cut out of this picture..

Meet Thea and James Cope

The twins are here! It was a scary arrival with them being almost 10 weeks early, but we are happy to be able to say that all is going well. Almost four weeks ago Brittany, Michelle and I were helping Brynne get ready for prom. Britt kept having "braxton hicks", but insisted she was fine. She went into labor that night and though the doctor tried to stop them from making their way out so early, they came the next night (May 6th). James weighed 3lbs 12oz. Thea 3lbs 5oz. Pretty good size considering how early they were! We are so excited to have another niece and nephew. Can't wait for them to get out of the NICU so we can actually hold them! As of right now, we can only see them from the NICU windows. Scott was able to go in to give them a blessing with Austin. Lucky.
