Viva Las Vegas!

Yep, we're on the road again. Just a week after St. George we headed down to Vegas on Scott's 29th birthday. He had work down there that following Monday, so we decided to go down for the weekend before to celebrate Scott's birthday with Brandon, Amanda and Max. They moved down there about six months ago, and we miss them tons. We had a great time with the Smiths in sin city!

She loved the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity. It was actually hilarious. Scarlett has been learning how to sign, and she is really good at asking for "more" in sign language. As soon as we gave her a first taste of whipped cream, she kept signing "more, more, more" faster than we could shovel it into her mouth! Apparently whipped cream is one of her favorites. It was really cute.

And back to St. George we go..

Every year Scott goes on a "man trip" with his dad and brothers-in-law. They usually golf, watch a BYU football game, catch a play at the Tuchan and hike.

This year Britt, Brig and I decided to crash the trip! It was way fun, aside from Scott getting the 24 hour bug and being bed ridden on the golf day :(. That was a bummer.

On our way down, Scott gave Scar her first taste of nasty McDonald's burger. She liked it..

My dad was still in St. George and met up with us and our good friends, the Attig family on our first night. We played "pickle ball", which was a blast!

The Kanarra hike was beautiful. Most of it was through water. So much fun, even with freezing feet! We forgot our carrier, so Scarlett was a great sport sitting in that backpack:)

Piano man

Scott's dream of having a baby grand came true last month. We ditched our cool old red stand up piano for this baby. Baby grand that is;). Scott is constantly playing it. I love having music in our home.

Bye bye big red. You will be missed! I should have got a better shot before the mover guy got in the photo.

After Jordan and Fan's wedding, Christiana and I packed up the kiddos and drove down to St. George with mom and dad. We spent a few fun filled days at Grandma TT's. It was a perfect little trip.

Dad and I went on a nice long bike ride to the temple. It was one of the highlights of our trip for me!

Cousin time!

If you know our family well, you know we are obsessed with our cousins. Mimi is one of my favorite people of all time. As I have mentioned before, she is my "twin" cousin. She lives all the way out in Michigan, therefore we do not get to spend nearly enough time together. When we get around each other, we act like a couple of nerdy teenagers. This was the first time I got to meet her second son, Jude. This was her first time meeting Scar. It was a long overdue reunion.

We had a great time with all the Clark cousins and Jordan and Fan's wedding. What an awesome couple! We absolutely adore Fan and are so excited to have her in the fam. She made a stunning bride!

Run for Harry

We got to do a 5K in memory of our buddy Harry, in August. It was a great experience! We love the Koller family and it was great to do something so special with them. Love you Harry!

Grace

Time to catch up! Our summer was crazy busy and full of fun. One of our favorite summer spots is Grace, ID. We go every year for the Grace county fair. It's the best time to be in Grace. The fair food is my absolute favorite!

While we're there we go full fledge country. This included me entering the pig wrestling contest! I did it with Scott's aunt Kristin, cousin Emily and cousin Candace. It was nuts. We had the loudest 200 pound, greased up pig, squealing and running from us in a pin full of mud in front of about 1,000 people. We failed at getting him in the barrel in less than a minute, but the experience was pretty fun;).

We also celebrated mine and cousin Keagan's birthday up there. On my birthday, Scarlett pulled up onto her knees and crawled one step! That's about all she did for the next month, but it was pretty exciting seeing her do that for the first time on my birthday. Oh how easy it is to excite this mama!!
