Between 8-9 Months

I feel like a lot happened with Scar's development in month eight and nine. She became such a corky little thing. Really though, she has so much personality it keeps Scott and I laughing all the time. She is so observant and smart. Even as young as six months she started imitating us. If I make a noise, she mimics it almost instantly. It's amazing how quickly she catches on to things! She is very aware of what's going on and is constantly surprising us with new little tricks!

News;

-September 7th she started full fledge crawling. 

-September 10th she started kissing daddy. Now gives us sweet slobbery kisses on a regular basis!

-Sometime in early September she started saying "Hi" while waiving to people! It is hilarious to watch. She just waives at strangers and says "hi" over and over again. People are always shocked that a baby so small can say "hi" so perfectly and clear. Let it be written, her first word (besides "daddy") was "hi"! She also upgraded from "dada" to "daaa-deee". Still no mama.. Just "mummumum", but thats only when she's speaking gibberish. Not calling for me:(. And lots of sweet gibber gabber talk. It sounds like she is actually trying to say words, not just goo-goo gaa-gaa stuff. I have a feeling she is going to be a good little talker. Her aunty Christiana is sure she will be an early talker. 

-At about 8.5 months she started sucking through straws and sippy cups.

-At 8 months she started loving all solids! She's a great eater. I was worried because she didn't love baby food. But as soon as we gave her real food, she became a wonderful eater. She feeds herself most of the time and loves being in her high chair.

-favorite toys are a dinosaur and a car. Although she found a baby doll at my grandma's and loved it! We are getting her a baby for her birthday:)

-She LOVES music. Every time music comes on she bounces up and down dancing. She even tries to sing along. I attribute this to Scott. He sings to her almost every night. She is mesmerized watching him. 

-She giggles and smiles when daddy comes home.

-September 28th her first tooth broke through on the bottom right. Her second one broke through almost immediately after. 

-She loves being outside

-She's a little fish! Loves baths and pool time. 

We continue to grow more obsessed...
